Golf Clinic Attendees
This year, The PGA of America headquarters team took it's Black History Month Celebration into the South Florida community at the John Prince Golf Learning Center! With PGA Chief Operations Officer Darrell Crall and seven African-American Golf Professionals, the PGA of America celebrated Black History Month in an active, family-oriented environment. Kids of all ages and their families were introduced to the game of golf with free Golf lessons, clinics, and stations that included Golfzilla and a fun putting course.
NBA World Champion Steve Smith, who now can be seen as an analyst on NBA TV, was on hand to share his passion for the game with the families and children who participated in this fun-filled day. Smith, who is an avid golfer, not only helped the kids with their games, he also benefited from instruction himself.

The program is set up through a partnership between the South Florida PGA and the Parent-Child Center.

Palm Beach County Putting Championship
March 24th,2012
The Fifth Annual Palm Beach County Putting Championship was a huge success with over 100 participants competing in 6 divisions and participating in a free putting clinic featuring PGA and LPGA Professionals, Donna White, Ryan Alvino, Chris Masterton, and Valerie Moore at John Prince Golf Learning Center in Lake Worth.
The Championship was conducted by Palm Beach County Golf staff and volunteers and Golf Professional Services Inc. staff (www.golfproservices.org). All proceeds were donated to the Junior Golf Foundation of America (www. JGFA.org) in support of junior golf in Palm Beach County.
